Matthew - Part 13

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

Read Matthew 9:9-13

Have you ever had a time where you felt completely out of place?

Why do you think it was such a big deal that Jesus called Matthew, a tax collector, to follow Him?

Why do we have a tendency to think that we need to ask Jesus to help us instead of asking Jesus how we can join him?

Do you have a tendency more toward self-righteousness or unrighteousness?

How have you learned to walk with Jesus among those who don’t walk with Jesus?

Do you think Jesus calls the unlikely?

Why does Jesus need to remind us, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick?”

Are you pursuing someone to disciple you? Are you pursuing someone to disciple? Why or why not?
