Place of Service
Communication
Volunteers help with graphic design, photography, digital communication, blogging, print collateral, web management, and social media. If you’re a photographer, writer, graphic designer, web designer, or have skills as a podcast or video editor, joining our Communications Team might be your next step. Communications Team works 2-3 hours per week but must be able to deliver on short turnaround schedules.
Coffee Team
Volunteers who serve on the hospitality team arrive early Sunday morning to provide a nice warm cup of delicious coffee and provide an inviting atmosphere for those joining our Gathering.
Connect Team
Volunteers who serve on the Connect Team specialize in helping people feel welcome at Northside. From the moment a person arrives on our campus until the time they leave, the Connect Team makes people feel welcomed. The connect team offers a multitude of opportunities to serve via the parking team, door holders, visitor center, passing out bulletins and ushering people to their seats.
Kidside
KidSide is designed to teach kids about Jesus on their level in a safe, fun environment. Each week babies–5th grade kids are taught the Bible in a creative, age-appropriate way while building relationships with adult volunteers and peers. You can serve in KidSide once a month, or as a fill-in based on your availability.
Production
Production volunteers help deliver an excellent, distraction-free service environment. If you’re creative, intuitive, hard-working, and have a passion for visual excellence and details, working with production might be your next step. There are spots to volunteer at every service.
Security
Volunteers who serve on the security team work to ensure our Sunday morning Gathering is safe and secure for all persons. You do not need any previous experience to serve on this team as we will provide necessary training.
Students
Northside Students exists to reach 6–12th grade students with the good news of Jesus Christ and teach them how to follow Jesus. If you love Jesus and middle and high school students, Northside Students is a great place for you to serve.
Sunday Morning Setup & Reset Team
Volunteers with the setup and reset team get our campus ready for our Sunday morning gatherings and reset our auditorium in between services. From putting out directional signs and flags before service to realigning chairs in our auditorium this service team ensures that our campus is in excellent condition.
Worship
Worship volunteers use their gifts, talents, and abilities to help develop a worship service that is Biblical, engaging, skillful, and surrendered.
