Welcome to Kidside!

At Northside we are all about making disciples. From infants to 5th grade, our Kidside team is dedicated to teaching, guiding & encouraging biblical based learning. Each week our Gospel Project curriculum goes chronologically through the bible and every lesson points back to the Gospel of Christ.

What can you expect when you arrive?

  • You can fill out the “Plan your visit” form located at the top of this page to let us know a little information about your family before visiting.

  • When you arrive, look for the teal wall and the large white “Kidside New Visitor Check In” desk.

  • Our Kidside team would be happy to assist you with checking in your children and answering any of your questions.

What is Family Discipleship?

God calls parents to serve as the primary disciplers of their children. How this is accomplished varies from family to family. Family discipleship isn’t a one-size-fits-all strategy, and it isn’t easy. We want to come alongside parents to help them craft their own strategy for family discipleship. Check out the EQUIP for Families video to see how some of our Northside parents disciple their kids at home.

Age-Appropriate Bibles

  • The Big Picture Story Bible

[FOR AGES 1-7] We love that it emphasizes the Bible as one big story with Jesus at the center, and the stories are told simply enough for preschoolers to understand and remember.

  • The Jesus Storybook Bible

[FOR AGES 4+] While other Kids’ Bibles contain stories from the Old and New Testaments, The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the Story beneath all the stories in the Bible, pointing to Jesus as our Savior. From the Old Testament through the New Testament, as the Story unfolds, children will clearly see that Jesus is at the center of God's great story of salvation—and at the center of their story too.

  • NIrV Adventure Bible

[FOR AGES 6+] Both this Bible and the NIV Adventure Bible (for ages 8-14) are word for word Scripture Bibles (not a storybook or summation of the Biblical text). The book introductions and call outs throughout the text are helpful in understanding and applying what the Scripture passages are saying, and the full color images grab the kids attention without being “babyish".
