Thessalonians - Part 10
2 Thessalonians 2:13-3:5
Discussion Questions:
1. When the world shakes you — Where in life do you most feel “quickly shaken in mind or alarmed” (2 Thess. 2:2)? How do you typically react?
2. Holy Confidence — Paul says God “chose you” (2:13). How does remembering that truth build confidence when everything else feels unstable?
3. Sanctification & Truth — Where are you most tempted to believe lies instead of holding fast to truth? How can sanctification by the Spirit help you fight those lies?
4. Comforted Hearts — What’s one situation where God gave you “eternal comfort and good hope through grace” (2:16)? How did it change your perspective?
5. Purpose & Mission — Paul asked that “the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored” (3:1). What would it look like for that prayer to be answered in your family, workplace, or school?
6. Not Shaken but Steadfast — When the Lord directs our hearts “to the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ” (3:5), how does that change the way we persevere through trials?
