John 9:1-12

Discussion Questions:

Open Discussion:

What is something that stood out to you from the passage of Scripture?

Sermon Discussion:

When you face suffering, what is your first instinct? Do you usually ask, "Why is this happening?" or "How might God display His work through this?"

Jesus said, "We must work the works of Him who sent me." Who is someone around you right now that God may be inviting you to serve, encourage, or point to Christ?

The blind man obeyed before he experienced healing. Is there an area of your life where you know what obedience looks like but have been hesitant to take the next step?

Jesus worked in an unexpected way, and the blind man trusted Him anyway. Why is it often difficult to trust God's methods when they don't match our expectations?

The healing of the man immediately drew attention to Jesus. What evidence of God's work in your life could become a testimony to someone else this week?

Application

Share one area of pain or struggle in your life, and ask God to display His works through that situation while giving you the faith to obey whatever He asks next. Pray together for that with a group member.
