This week’s Bible Story video found in the November 1st folder on the TV in your classroom. This would be fun to play after you tell the story with the story cards and felt pieces.

Worship Songs

Three songs have been provided in the November 1st folder along with the Bible Story so that you can worship through singing with your class. Toddlers and preschoolers will sing these three songs for three weeks. Instruments and movement scarves are also provided for worship time! Have fun singing together! Click the buttons below to preview the songs.

Active Games

  • Pretend Picnic Snack Activity: Set the provided table cloth on the floor to create a picnic area for the kids. Have kids pretend they came to listen to Jesus speak, then share a small snack while talking about how everyone got plenty to eat. This a great opportunity to review the story details. You can ask questions like:

Who was in the big crowd with Jesus?
(A whole lot of people—men, women, and children!)

Who shared his little lunch with Jesus?
    (A little boy!)

What did the little boy share?
(Five small loaves of bread and two fish.)

What did Jesus do before sharing the food?
(He thanked God and prayed/blessed it.)

    Did the food run out?
(No! Everyone ate until they were full.)

How many baskets of leftover food were left over at the end?
    (12 baskets!)

Can you count to 12? (Count with kids!)

Craft: glue five loaves of bread and two fish to a paper plate.

Coloring sheet provided for 18 months- Pre-K 5’s!
