WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
MONDAY NIGHT RECAP
Week 1
What a wonderful evening it was gathered together as we begin our semester studying the Story of Abraham in the book of Genesis!
We set up the study in the teaching time by walking through the Inductive Study Method and why it's helpful, going through the historical context of Genesis, talking about the importance of studying God's Word and recapping with 3 simple things to keep in mind during personal study time:
1. Start Each Day with Prayer!
Pray before you begin to study! Ask God to teach you, change you, reveal Himself to you so that you grow in your LOVE for the Lord.
2. Read the passage of scripture each day:
Repetition is good and needed!
-We want to know God's Word and be familiar with it
3. SHOW UP!
Consistency and participation in personal study, small group discussion and teaching time will greatly enhance your experience.
We get it- life happens, we get busy and sometimes we can't complete the homework
